Okay just hear me out. What if our appendix (you know, that pointless organ in your stomach) was there to prevent us from becoming zombies? It’s made from Lymphatic tissue, which cleans the blood from viruses and stuff. And the reason we have all the stories and myths of the walking dead was because they came from before we evolved the appendix.
